Title: "The Old Timer" Bachmann Train Set
Post by: Lard on January 11, 2012, 03:35:06 PM
I found this train set in my basement that I've had for at least 30 years so it's probably from the 70's or early 80's.  I've been trying to find some information on it so that I can sell it and ask a reasonable price but I can't find anything online.  It is a Bachmann "N" Electric train set called "The Old Timer".  Item No. 4404 and has the original packaging.  It appears as though the power pack does not work but everything else looks good.  If you know anything about this set please let me know.  Thanks!  (I tried to include a picture but I keep getting an error saying the upload folder is full even though the picture is less than 50KB)

Check eBay; see what the sets are selling for. Also check prices on the loco and cars by themselves. Maybe you could get more if you part it out.

Two sets recently sold on Ebay for $35 -$45 with shipping extra - there is currently one up for bid right now.
