Where would I find replacement trucks for the Bachmann 3 axle passenger cars (like the McKinley Explorer), with or without wheels?

They don't have them as a seperate item. :(
Maybe they will come out with the trucks someday.
Try the Microtrains website. They sell (among others) six-wheel Commonwealth passenger trucks. They come wlith optional truck-mounted couplers, and are available in black or silver.
I haven't used these, but have used their 4-wheel passenger trucks. The trucks come with an assortment of mounting pins to fit a variety of manufacturers' cars.
Microtrains trucks have very good rolling qualities.
