Hi . I cannot seem to get the drive wheels to stay put they keep coming loose what is keeping them inplace . Thanks, Dave.
where are the wheels coming loose? on the sides or the bottom?
It's a common problem with older Bachmann loco's. I'm guessing the gears are white nylon. What happens is the nylon shrunk over time and then cracks. The loco is pretty much unfixable because gears are no longer available. I suggest boxing it up and taking advantage of the limited lifetime warranty.
