Title: Spectrum EMC Gas Electric Doodlebug Powered
Post by: JoeH4700 on March 03, 2012, 10:08:34 AM
Need to know some info on the N scale Spectrum EMC Gas Electric Doodlebug Powered # 81452
(1) Any idea about minimum radius? I never read the product review. If not, overall scale length, or length between centerpoint of trucks.
(2) What kind of couplers? Mounted on frame or on trucks.
Thanks

If it is the most recent issue, with the trailer coach, it will go around a nine and three quarter curve.  It don't look none too good doing it, but it will do it.  It will take the trailer coach with it, without derailing.

They have a body mount coupler, that slides both forward and backward and side to side.

If it is the older version, it has a body mount that swivels with the pivotting of the rear, non-powered truck.  It, too, will go around a nine and three quarter curve, and also looks none too good doing it.

The newer version, while pricey, is the better of the two.
