Title: P-8 Pacific

Have a new idea for Bachmann Spectrum line. What about a P-8 Pacific?  Like the famous running SP 2472?

That could be a good seller, and would be a good running mate with the Daylight 4-8-4.  It may justify the $250,000 or so it takes to bring a new model to market--maybe.

What's the driver diameter?  If it's 80 inches, it could use the Pennsy K4s mechanism as a base, and cut down on that $250,000.

You might want to check out this post from a while back.
