Title: Big Hauler Buildings?
Post by: Conductor pops on April 02, 2012, 12:24:01 AM
I am looking at some Bachmann Big Hauler  G scale buildings online. It says they are made from sturdy Lithyographed chip board. Will these work outside on a garden scale railway?

If they are the ones I am thinking about I think those were are intended for indoor use.

you might try laminating them to "OSB" board and give them several coats of VarathaNE-TYPE VARNISH.  GJ

Chip board will not stand up to water. First rain and they will be gone.

Conductor Pops,
Good call on the buildings.  No matter what you do to these buildings they will not hold up out in the weather.  Nice for an inside layout but a waste of time and money if used out doors.
