Title: Is electronic reversing unit on Williams O 23909 Street Car a bump & reverse?
Post by: N.H.&I.railfan on May 02, 2012, 03:18:03 PM
What exactly is meant by electronic reversing unit on the Williams O 23909 Philadelphia Transit Co. Peter Witt Street Car? Is that the same as bump and go where a streetcar travels on a straight run of track and when it's progress is stopped by an end of track bumper it automatically reverses direction? Or do you have to constantly push the transformer's direction button to have it change its direction of travel? Couldn't find a way to access this streetcar's manual by way of this website.

Dear Fan,
The Peter Witt has an electronic e-unit, not a mechanical one.
It reverses when power is cycled off and on.
We have nor "Bump and reverse" units.
Have fun!
