I don't ballast E-Z Track, I just paint the ballast part whatever color I want it.

putch-

You don't really have to ballast EZTrack but it will look nicer if you do. It's also the only way to get it to look like the rest of your track. There's no trick to it. Just use dilute white glue, wet water and whatever ballast you use elsewhere on your railroad.

this will work with any kind of track.

i spread the ballast, pre wet the ballast with rubbing alcohol applied with an eyedropper.    then i flow on a 50% white glue/water mix, applied from an old glue bottle.    if you don't pre wet the ballast it tends to clump up when you apply glue.

let this dry overnight before you try to run trains.    if you are using dcc. unplug it completely.    water and electricity don't mix.....
