I would like to know if bachmann does any persnoal designs? Take the forny, take the tender off the cab and make a tender, have a wood, coal and oil load, have differnt stacks such as balloon, Rangly Hunter, cap, and others just like the 4-4-0. Just would like to know.

dont even need extra money..just take a saw to it! ;)
several people have already turned the forney into a fine 2-4-0, with a seperate tender.

I'll will probobly end up screwing it up, and plus being 15 don't help. :-\ But on the personal designs , I was thinking about mass producing it not just 2 or 3 models for one person.
I don't think Bachmann does any custom work like this, so it's up to each person, who has either the skill and equipment to do the bashing, or the cash to pay someone who has the skill and equipment.
Now, the Bach-Man, he certainly has skills and equipment, but I think he's too busy building display layouts and keeping this board civilized to spend much time bashing locos. But I could be wrong.
