Title: 5 AMP Booster with dynamis Pro
Post by: crspada on August 15, 2012, 09:13:34 PM
Does anyone have a schematic of how to hook up the 5 AMP booster to the Dynamis system with the Pro Box.  I do not want to purchase a booster (even though I need one) without knowing if I lose the Programming Track ability.  Also can you add 2 boosters and what would this look like?

So I spent a month following your thread and looking for this answer with no luck so I will try again.  With the Dynamis Pro box, can I run 2.3 amps to one isolated section, and also run the bus wire to a booster (and I do not care about extra cost of Bachmann 5 amp booster).  Will output to that booster produce 5 amps to it's own isolated section and will there be any issue with the amp difference when the engine crosses over from one section to the next.  I am not concerned that the programming track, run from the command station box output halts the rest of the system during the programming period.  I also am asking for help on how to add a second booster.  Does it hook up to the first booster, or also get connected to the power bus.  It seems that all the diagrams I can find use a cab bus output which my Dynamis does not have.  I believe i understand my output needs and my long term plans are marginal for 5 amp total but probably not if I can split 2.3 and 5 amp outputs.  If I can not do this, then I will need 2 boosters, hence my double pronged question.

Thank you for any support.
