Just purchased a ***Bachmann Spirit Of Christmas Ready To Run Electric Train Set - N Scale***
I have been HO Scale and wanted a N Scale in my basement. I also want to go DCC... But I didn't see this set as DCC ready. Is it possible to retro it with DCC and sound? If so what parts would I need?
I'm about to buy the ****Bachmann Trains E-Z Command Digital Command Controller*** and buy a steam train that has DCC.. But id rather just add the DCC Decoder and fit it in this Set...Any assistance would be helpful.. thanks all.
You probably jumped in without looking but there is a N scale forum here.

Fitting sound into N scale is going to be a challenge depending on your level of experience and what space is available in the loco ot tender.
SoundTraxx and a couple other manufactures sell N scale sound decoders.
If I am looking at the correct diagram, 0-6-0, there is a motor in the tender. No room.
