Title: Mobility of Tidmouth roundhouse
Post by: AndyJB on October 26, 2012, 04:15:53 PM
I'm building my grandson a layout and for storage need to be able to remove the buildings. Tidmouth sheds is a large building  so here's the question; once built can the roundhouse be separated from the turn table and how sturdy is the roundhouse. i.e. will it fall apart if it gets moved on a regular basis?

I am able to pull it up,  by either dis-assembleing it,  OR just picking it up as it is (assembled). And putting it somewhere.  I would recommend the latter as the thing is very light.  It might flex a bit,  but its fine;)

Have fun with it!

PS:  I would recommend investing in a motorized turntable for it.  You can put the green guards and the little hut on it to fit the Thomas theme
