Just got my latest issie of GR and was reading an interesting article on batteries. Looked at the authors name and . . . lo and behold it . . . it was none other than our own Loco Bill!!!

Thanks for a great article on Li-Ion batteries. Well written, figures and pictures were very descriptive, and even I could follow the logic.

It was fun to do it, but I did get encouragement and great tips from our own Kevin Strong, and GR did a great job converting my rough diagrams to very nice figures, and editing my photos. There is only one small error in figure 2.

As an aside, I wonder how come I get a magazine from the US at almost the same time as those is the States while I don't get the mag from the UK for two months after they have seen it over there? Australia is that much closer to the North America than to Europe?
