Title: EZ track connection to NCE Power Cab
Post by: bill collins on November 13, 2012, 07:23:20 PM
Is there any type adapter to connect from the power panel to the track. I'm just now converting to DCC and have a NCE Power Cab.
Perhaps it would be easier to just to use the EZ Digital Command System. Thanks in advance for any help.

I have the NCE Power Cab. Connect two wires to the Cab, connect to the track. Not really very complicated.  I used #22 wire as I only run two locos. I converted my DC home layout that way. Very simple.
Some might use #18 if a medium size layout at home.
If you ever plan on maybe a bigger layout with say a five amp booster, then use #14 wire and #22 feeders.

If you don't want to cut the wire that comes with a standard EZ-Track terminal section, pick up a 10ft Red Terminal Extension Wire (Item # 44498). Cut the male end off, split the wires apart, strip the ends, and you're ready to connect to your Power Cab.
