I just purchased the subject set with 4-6-0 locomotive. The digital true blast II whistle worked intermittantly but now not at all. The bell works fine. How do I troubleshoot this ?

Swap the wires (center rail wire to the outer rails, outer rails wire to the center rail) at the terminal track.
Report any differences with the whistle and bell.
