First post. I am missing a rail for the door on my Casey Jones large scale box car (Linville River 4). I contacted Bachmann today and they don't have the part and had no suggestions. Thought I would check here. It is 1/4" x 5 3/8" plastic with 3 posts on the back. There are 4 on a car, one top and bottom each side) and somehow between this Christmas and last one has disappeared. Imagine that? Since there are 4 and they just push on I was hoping I wouldn't be the only one to lose one and the Bachmann would have the part in great supply. Oh well, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Your best option is to buy another box car for "parts". Ebay has them used all the time, and the prices are often very reasonable. Some times you can even find the shell without the underframe. If there are any RR train shows or Swap meets in your area you might get lucky at one of them. If there is a Large Scale RR club in your area go to a meeting they might be able to help.
