Post by: Musicwerks on March 19, 2013, 03:04:48 AM
Hi Bach-man,

I have a old dc split frame virginian fairbank morse.

I would like to make it dcc. What decoder can I buy and how do I get the wiring done?

Pictures aid will be most appreciated.

Cheers
Kiong

I have 3 of these I have converted using digitrax dh123 or dh163 decoders. I used the following tutorial which shows how to do it step by step.

btw, this process also applies to any Bachmann locomotive with a similar split frame construction such as gp30, gp35, sd45 or c40-8.....
