Title: DCC Sound on board
Post by: Mr. C on April 20, 2013, 12:43:19 PM
I have just purchased a Bachmann Alco FB2 Diesel Loco With Sound.
When I put it on the track it runs, but no sound.I am using the e-z command system.I pushed the function button along with #10,however nothing happens. Any ideas?

the sound is most likely muted. follow your command station's instructions for unmuting the sound. can ez command do this? the literature in the loco box says function 8 in mute.

Mr.C

After hitting the function button try pressing other numbers. 10 is for the lights,8 or 6 mutes, 1,2,3 are for the horns and bells. Most of the rest do nothing.

Don't take this wrong, just trying to help. After you select the loco's address and then press the function button, does the light next to the address blink? When it's blinking is when you can operate the sounds. Just a thought.

The Engine sound on my E Z command is at 4. Has to be turned on by the blinking address button using function.
