Title: a new garden railway book
Post by: bob kaplan on April 21, 2013, 08:51:10 PM
i hope it is ok to give a heads up like this.....i have been reading Kevin Strong's GARDEN RAILWAY BASICS:  FROM CONCEPT TO CONSTRUCTION TO UPKEEP.  Nicely done:  easy to read, nice pictures, and touches much of the hobby.  i model in my basement, but this book still has many chapters that give good insight.  Check it out.  Exclusively large scale

I wrote a short review of Mr Strong's book over on another forum.  In view of the butt-kicking I got a while back from the management here for mentioning non-Bachmann products, you'll have to read my words someplace else that, unfortunately, I'm not able to name for the reason stated above.

Dear All,
Let's put it this way: I'm buying one.  Kevin is an excellent, reliable resource. (...and usually, so are you, tac...)!
Have fun!
