Title: Looking for HO Self-Isolating Turn-outs
Post by: HONZ on July 05, 2013, 11:14:56 AM
Does anyone know the part numbers for left & right non-DCC equipped turn-outs (self-isolating) and where I can obtain them?

Please let me know

Thanks

Doug

No idea what you mean by, "self Isolating".

self-isolating means that if a turnout is set to straight, the opposing left or right track is dead, no power to it - and it remains in that condition until you switch the track - then it is live and the opposing track is powerless

Have a look at Peco Electro-Frog turnouts. I also have some older Shinohara turnouts that are power routing, not sure if their new ones are this way or not.
