I have a new idea I want to put into the little Gandy Dancers. I want two of them, not running, of course. I will design and build at least two drives for two running "GDers". Need the front section, with wheels and the rear section with wheels and the pick up parts.
One I will keep for more development and the second one will be returned to the donor for his own use, with my thanks.

Great idea Barry ;D I hope you can come up with a simple fix. Just want to say that I would be interested in an upgrade for the first generation Gandy Dancer. I have one I run at our yearly exhibition here in Norway and it is very popular. I have managed to patch this one up over the years by pinning the broken small axle gears and making a new drive belt by slicing a HO scale traction tire in two ! However I don't think it will hold up much longer !
This would make for an interesting build post Barry.
