Thought since there was no train activity everyone would enjoy something different.
Here's to you GG1.

Jerry-
Great selection of photos and videos. And thanks for the titles, explanations
and diagrams. I wouldn't have been able to understand everything I was
looking at without them.

Jerry:
Thanks for the link. Saw some strange and interesting railroad things.
I think the main message I got was KISS - Keep It Simple Stupid!

Thanks for the link. Lots of very interesting trains in that link. I spent another 2 - 3 hours searching the Internet for more info on some of those. That's the problem with the Internet, one thing leads to another and another and another.... :)
I have to admit lots of smiling, pause clicks, and oh oh oh's, ala Arnold Horshack ;). A regular Mothers of Invention convention :D. The egg shaped boiler doors at about 6:45, these have got to have a nickname ???. If not pick one :o. Tombstones? Bathtubs? Bedpans? ;D

I know exactly what you mean. It's like reading the dictionary.

Nice compilation of the unusual.
Surprisingly enough, I have seen some very expensive brass models of many of those "never were" locomotives... unfortunately no Quintuplex (sp). :)

Jerry,
That is a wonderful link! There is something cryptozoological about these machines, and they hold the same fascination for me.

Thanks for the slide show. That is really cool!
After looking at the photos that were submitted i don't feel so bad about not having my layout complete.... :)
