If it's G than it can be, but don't use Bachmann track.  Any other gauge the answer is "probably not."

      Hey tvgold,
The Wonderland Express is On30 scale, runs on HO track. the EZ Track supplied with it is NOT very conducive to inclement weather.
Now the good news. EZ track is just that, so easy to set-up and take down, in a matter of minutes.
In fact, today I purchased a Hawthorne Village On30 set, from an Estate sale, set-up was less than 10 minutes, ran train for 30, and tear down less than 5. I had to hurry up and hide it before the wife got home, or there would have been the added expense of flowers.

Word of warning on the EZ-track set up.  The track does set up and take down quickly.  But an inexperienced person needs to understand that each and every piece of track must connect with the joiners of both pieces of track.  Otherwise power may be spotty and derailments will occur.  Every time you join two pieces of track, run your finger over the top of the rail, both ways and make sure the top is smooth.
Otherwise there is trouble in River City.

     Thanks Gene,
also an even, fairly level surface is needed to help keep track together and smooth.

             Enjoy,

My bad,  the train I'd like to set up outside is the bachmann wonderland flyer-not the wonderland express ;D

The Wonderland Flyer is well suited for outdoor use, but as Gene pointed out, the hollow, tin plate Bachmann track that comes with the set is not.  Aristo-Craft, USA Trains and others make suitable track for outdoor use, or you can buy just the rail and hand lay your own.  Welcome to the wonderful world of large scale model railroading!
