Found these on sale at a very good price. But are they good - appearance, performance, etc?

Thanks
Frank

The FT are very good, from the ones I've seen. Don't know about the F3s.

BTW,
How much did you find them for?

operating characteristics - both very very good.

general quality - both very very good.

fidelity to the prototype: P1K F3 are better.

I have an A-B set of P1K F3's -- great runners, even better on DCC. I have pre-Walthers units without a DCC plug, but a circuit board-type decoder can go in without soldering by using the existing plastic wire retainer clips. Replace the bulb, too.
