Shay, Climax, Heisler and Logging Mallet.

I think it is time for a Minarets type

A Logging Phoenix load would be interesting to see. I build all my cars just building a engine is going to be the challenge.

Similar to the loco running up at Elbe WA on the Mt Rainier Scenic Railroad?

That'll do for me!

Backwoods Miniatures do a kit to covert the Bachmann 2-8-0 into something very similar: http://www.backwoodsminiatures.com/xbm282_01.JPG
It's the wrong scale (On30) but as the largescale 2-8-0 is much the same as the On30 2-8-0 the Backwoods Miniatures kit could be used as a pattern for whatever bits you need to add.

What a neat rendition of a logging Minarets type as a narrow gauge locomotive.  Pop it here.

I've always liked the looks of that conversion from Backwoods. I'm surprised no one's kitbashed the 1:20 2-8-0 into something similar as yet.

Later,
