Has anyone done a Coal to Oil conversion for this engine?
Photographs, drawings or parts supplier would be appreciated

Thanks

Many.
Some hand-made, and CSC Innovations used to make two versions for them, rounded and flat-topped.
We just make them to fit where the coal went.
We also re-mount the backup light to either the deck or the top of the bunker.
No current photos, but I can get some later.

Closest is this, a "borrowed" tender behind a Mikado under test.

I have constructed a "mock-up" of my intended Coal to Oil conversion.
After a few minor adjustments i will make the final conversion from styrene plastic.

Here is my Oil Tank Insert made from styrene plastic.
Note the changes from my card stock mock-up.
Now to paint it flat black and repost

Any chance we could see some larger pics? It looks really really good and I would love to see the details.

Rod,
Looks like you've done a good job with the oil bunker.

Nice work, but a couple of larger pictures would be nice.

O.K. I will try to post the pictures Larger. The "Photobucket" web page compressed them. I will try to figure out a work-arround.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

As you can see I finally worked it out!! ;D
