Good Morning,
My Sound Value S2 has been acting up as of late. I plug in Powercab, and Alco motor sounds come on in idle. As soon as I try to move in FWD or REV sound dies, loco jerks a little then stops moving; wants to go but can't. Track is very clean, electric connections are good. I removed loco shell, doesn't appear to be any loose wires, so I'm stuck for now.........
Any thoughts or suggestions for this HO/DCC rookie would SURELY be appreciated!

OK, I've been reading down through some other threads here; I'll try to reset the decoder after work; see if that'll help.........
Good troubleshooting. Saw that earlier but was busy.
First thing I would have suggested.
