What ever happened to the Spectrum D&S NG fire car that was announced a year or more ago? I had one ordered --W&I Trains-- or did something happen to W&I Trains? Phones in new Garden Railways seem to be disconnected.
So---bottom, line is--Where can I get one of these cars?
My last conversation with W&I seemed to have the cars in Philly--

I thought I heard the car may have finally come out, but W&I Trains has definitely closed their doors, you could try calling Robbie at RLD Hobbies, he will know. Or call Trainworld.
Wade, what have you heard? Yardmaster any news?

Forgot to mention that the Car is not Spectrum, but part of the Standard line.
Good news! The D&S "Fire Suppression" Tank Care, Item No. 93471 in our standard line, should be arriving in our warehouse next week. Enjoy!

Thanks--I am assuming that the dealer I had one ordered thru (W&I Trains) is no longer in business--they do have an ad in new Garden Railways--but phones appear to be disconnected.

I just checked Wholesale Trains web page. Now the estimated delivery is May 30th and the price went up a little. I guess us 1:22.5 guys are low priorty.

I would also check the RLD hobbies price.
I was at a train meet in MD Saturday and Star Hobbies said they had received some the day before, 4-11-2014, but he was at the show when they came in. It sounds like they may finally be in the country.

The tank car came today. Just as pictured, nice crisp lettering. I hope the two reefers in the 2014 catalog don't take as long to get here. I'm not getting any younger, you know.
