I resently bought a 44 Ton #80038, that is supposed to be dcc ready. I went to the hobby shop to get the chip, and could not find a dcc plug inside. Am I missing something? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

There are solder pads for soldering the decoder to the circuit board.
