That was mesmerising. Boy, that is a hard job on the mine railway, but the works uniform is great. Thanks for these Fred. They don't  get enough attention.

I believe someone imported a brass model of that Shay in about the same time period as the film was shot.  BTW, all that logs lying next to the mine tracks are used for mine props inside the diggings.

I really liked the switches/turnouts with the one rail swing across the entire track.

But talk about a wiring hassle if you modelled one.
