Title: Bachmann G Scale Delaware Surgery Center Car
Post by: Gatorman8052 on September 23, 2014, 05:28:54 AM
Hi All,
Looking for some information. The car looks like a four door baggage car. It is a rust red color with black roof.
The lettering on the car is in gold. Anyone have any insight on this car?
All input would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
                           Joe

I saw it. Look close at the letter board at the top of the sides. They have been brush painted and other lettering applied.

Good catch Wade. I did not see that at first look.
I guess this car was never produced by Bachmann as it is pictured.
Anyone have a guess as to what it started out as?

Sure, it was a 97497 PRR baggage #4, first listed in 1995 as an addition for the 90097 #2 Golden Classic Pennsylvania set from 1992.
