Brand new to this train hobby, but cannot get my brand new tender light to work. It's brand new, straight out of the box...just set it up yesterday. The "Night Before Christmas Model". Any ideas on how to get this going? The front light on the engine works great. 9V battery is inserted and all sound works as advertised....just the darn tender light!
Any help is greatly appreciated.

The tender back-up light is cosmetic only; it does not operate.

Its easy to add an led light to it, i added one with 680ohm restors.
Because leds must have correct polarity when wired, they do not come on going forward but light up when backing. The only wires needed connect to power pickups
