Third Avenue Railway System (NYC) - Birney Streetcar DCC ON BOARD  Item: 80205

Cost more but Item 80205 is by far the better model.

The Bachmann 'Brill' trolley, under one street name or another, has been around for a long time. I believe it was around when Tyco was still making "in street" track, with 9" radius curves, for there version of the 'Birney' 4-wheel trolley.

The Bachmann 'Birney' is much newer, with more detail and DCC.

If you want a nice trolley then get a Spectrum,  the standard line trolley cars just are no where near the quality of the Spectrum Peter-Witt and Birney Safety car. The standard line trolley is a $15-20 piece, so you get what you pay for... I suggest sticking with the Spectrum models if possible.
