Just switched in ON30 and Dead Rail with Bachman 0-4-0 Porter (DCC on board), LENZ DCC, and TAM Valley DRS1 transmitter and receiver. Plan to use mini tender to hide batteries, receiver, etc.

Current problem is finding information about how to access the decoder inside the Bachmann Porter, since the decoder must be rewired to remove its connection to rail power pickup and reconnected to new battery power and wireless receiver.

Would appreciate any instructions on accessing decoder in Porter. Anyone who can help, please email charlieb821@sbcglobal.net.

I have switched to this also and it is nice!,no more cleaning track and complex wiring.
