Are there any plans to release any new bachmann steam engines with sound in the next year or two?
Bachmann makes all their official product announcements at the NMRA National Convention, this past year's convention was in Cleveland. Bachmann will make announcements of new products at the next convention, you just have to be patient. You will find out in due time.
I'm sure there is, otherwise Bachmann would not do very well with modelers.
Im patient,just wondering if anything is in the works before the convention.
They're going to be releasing a C&NW ES Pacific with DCC and sound!

It is Bachmann's policy to only make official announcements about new products at the convention every year and they will not divulge any information at any other time.

yes MARK i will look forward to your review of their pacific,i too can dream but your review will be most likely be of MRC"S new dcc&sound equipped pacific&mikado, which i am sure will be a reality , no guessing there.

I do have pre-orders placed for an MRC Pacific and Mikado, so we shall see. Still hoping that Bachmann does their own Pacific, though.
