Title: n gauge tools
Post by: ralph67 on June 03, 2015, 10:01:44 AM
I need to change the coupler on my box car. It requires a very small Phillips Head cross head type screw driver. I cannot find such a driver. Can anyone tell me where i can get one.

Welcome.

Almost any store, drug store, W@almart, big box store has jewellers screwdriver sets. I have three of those sets. Some have two different sizes besides straight screwdrivers. Easy to misplace one of those screwdrivers.
Those are Metric screws. Don't loose them.
The sets are usually in a plastic box and hanging near the check out counter on a hook. Seen them many times. Mine were under $5.00 a set. If you have a local hardware store, they will sell them and maybe even a small Phillips if you don't want the whole set. The small straight ones are good for eyeglass repair. Eyeglasses are usually straight screws.

Wrong forum by the way. Look all around the Bachmann site.

Probably the cheapest and easiest way to go. The screw will be quite small.

Most eye glass tool kits also contain eye glass screws (quite small and short) which can be of a help if you need a small replacement screw.
