I just bought a locomotive in On30 scale which is a 2-6-6-2. I am wondering why there are no parts available at the inline store.

What parts are you looking for? I believe most of the parts for the 2-4-4-2 also work with the 2-6-6-2.

I had a burned out motor on one of my 2-4-4-2's.
Bachmann sent me a complete chassis due to lack of parts in their inventory.
The construction of the 2-6-6-2 and the 2-4-4-2 are the same.
