Title: Bachmann HO 2-6-2 - operating pilot couplers?
Post by: Clovis-73 on November 20, 2015, 10:38:27 AM
Is there an operating pilot coupler available for the Bachmann Ho 2-6-2?

I don't know offhand, but let me ask you; why don't you try to modify what you have?  There are many suppliers-Kadee comes to mind-that have parts, and help in the form of an on-site forum.
Why should you-or anyone else-be stuck behind convention?

I believe the 2-6-2 is a modified usra 0-6-0. a working front couple can be added to this locomotive but it will require you to build your own mounting bracket, and modification of the pilot as well.

follow the link and scroll down the page until you see the union pacific 0-6-0 to see how one person added a working coupler to this locomotive.
