Just set new track and train set, The locomotive will not run. I have checked the power to track. checked the tracks for connection, All appears to be okay. Any suggstions?

Did you accidentally connect the track to the AC terminals instead of DC?
Have you checked power output with a multimeter?
Does the locomotive run when the track leads are touched directly to the wheels?
