Dear 41,
Contact the parts department to see if they're available.
Have fun!

I've had pretty good luck adapting Motrak Models coal loads to Bachmann, and other's, hoppers. Most of the time it just involves a little filing to match the cars interior. Once or twice, a bit of putty to fill gaps.

The Motrak #81920 is a 2-pack of 70-Ton 4-Bay hopper coal loads. It's available from Model Train Stuff as item MOT-81920 for $5.19. Most other places are looking for the full MSRP of $6.50.

Thanks Len, I'll check them out. Bachmann Man, I called Bachmann they recommended posting here because they don't have them. Very confusing, to sell a complete car with coal load but not supply replacement loads.

Coal loads, both removable and fixed, are easy to make yourself.

I'm sure if you Google 'removable coal loads' you'll find something.

Cheers
