Title: Bachmann HO GP30
Post by: quark51 on August 10, 2016, 05:41:30 PM
I just bought a new Bachmann GP30 and was impressed by the detail on it, almost as nice as the Proto 2000 GP30 I have. My only complaint about this locomotive is the lack of a window on the right side.

We are planning to address this on future production runs.

Hey quark51:

Regarding the glass-less cab window, I pop the shell off, cut out some of the clear package plastic, cut it to size, and glue the "glass" in the blank cab window space (I can't get any of the nice Bachmann people at headquarters to come down to my layout in Missouri, so I gotta do it myself.)   :)

On the next run of the GP30s how about some Conrail locos and some different numbers for New York Central.

ON the next REVISION OF THE gp30 how about addressing the cab glass all together and make it flush with the outside of the cab.Man that would look Good!
