Title: HO Terminal Joiners
Post by: AHRJMR on November 03, 2016, 08:55:48 AM
Hi, Since I can't use a solder iron, I am forced to use terminal joiners on my HO layout. Can someone tell me what size wire is used on terminal joiners?

Thanks,

Jim

Jim,

I purchased and used some terminal joiners on my first layout.  They were handy, if not a bit pricey compared to soldering, but I understand the appeal.

This is a WAG, but the wire appears to be somewhere in the 20 gage range.

Regards,

Jonathan

Atlas terminal rail joiners are 24 gauge with 6" long wire. I just bought some a couple weeks ago off EBay.

They're wires with rail joiners on the end.  ;)

I would think a really good use for these would be for handlaid rail on wood ties.
