Title: Controller Question
Post by: trains4life on December 16, 2016, 12:28:00 PM
Hey Guys,
I hope I'm posting this in the right place, I need some help.

I am planning an N gauge layout using a bachmann controller and peco track. Now here's the part where I need help, I bought the bachmann controller and the box says it comes with universal track power wire for other track systems, but the only wire it came with has the E-Z track connecter on it.

So am I missing a second wire and if I'm not, then how do I connect the controller to the peco track?

Any help would be great, thanks!

Peco uses these connecting clips to deliver power to the rails, correct?  http://www.peco-uk.com/product.asp?strParents=3309,3310&CAT_ID=3315&P_ID=17134

You could cut the E-Z track connector off of the end of the included cable and solder the Peco connectors to the exposed wires.
