Is it possible to run item #44876 & item #44875 in line so as to create a double crossover? I have tried but I cannot isolate the inside and outside to run on two separate transformers. KATO has item #20210 that is one piece for a double crossover.
The Bachmann #6 Crossovers are designed for DCC layouts. Unlike the Kato double crossover, they do not make provisions for isolating the parallel tracks for DC operation using two power packs. Using them in that manner on a DC layout requires modifying them, both on the top and underneath, to create the electrical isolation you're looking for.
