Just about the biggest show in the USA. CSX yard nearby.
Google big e fairgrounds west springfield ma
Google maps will show the fairgrounds and CSX yard nearby. Many years ago tracks came right into the fairgrounds for delivery and pickup.

Between the parking fee and entry fee, gasoline, the expenses add up, even w/o eating breakfast across the street at Memo's where many train enthusiasts are having breakfast.

Will agree, between all the buildings, lots to see, too much for 1 day; even a lot for 2 days.  Hope the weather cooperates.

Last year, Rail Explorers was showing rail bikes, two seat and four seat,  for riding railroad tracks at a tourist place in New York state. The want to start this in Newport, Rhode Island before the line becomes a rail trail.
Google rail explorers for more info.

Boothbay Railway Village is bringing a 1925 H.K. Porter steam locomotive (live and UNDER STEAM!!!; located outside!!). Narrow gauge loco.

WC prediction. Partly cloudy, 39 to 40 F each day. Ten to fifteen mph winds. Not bad at all for this area. Memo's will be crowded.

Very nice show today.
Bachmann's  E-Z APP™ Bluetooth® is quite the system if you have not seen it in operation.
