Post by: Austin Said on January 02, 2017, 04:27:53 PM
Just set up a new Bachmann Digital Commander track. The set comes with two engines. Neither engines headlight will burn. Any thoughts?

Okay,.. I just read that "function 10" turns the headlight on. I pressed the "10" button and the "3" light goes off on the controller causing a loss of control of the speed. In addition the light still does not turn on. Looking for help.

you must choose your loco such as address 3 then press the function button and press 10. Sounds as if you forgot the function button

Don't forget to press the function button a second time after pressing 10 to exit function mode.  ;)

Have you followed the instructions in this manual?
I don't have this set but all I have read here, it is fairly easy.
