I have the above set that came with 22 inch radius track and a 45 x 80 oval.
If I want to do a inner oval, I assume it has to with 18 inch radius track,
I assume the Acela can not go over 18 inch radius. Is a option to widen my table and then make inner oval with 22 inch radius curve?

If you're going to widen your table anyway, you could keep your 22" loop and do an outer loop using 26" radius curves. This will give the same track spacing as an 18" inner loop would, but let you run just about anything. Including most 85' passenger cars.
