Title: Rail Truck help
Post by: g-guage_trains on February 05, 2017, 04:15:32 PM
Hi, my Rail Truck front truck dropped off and I cannot get it on. Can someone tell me how to re-attach it?
Thanks, alanrr

Hi Alan,

At the following link, you'll find all kinds of information on the Bachmann rail truck, including a decent photo of the front truck under the paragraph entitled "Surging" about a third of the way down the web page.  It looks like the truck is held in place by a single screw, but even the author admits that removing the front truck is a complicated process.

Hope this helps!
Jay

O.K., I snapped truck on part s257xß00x01, a very hard snap.
On to installing the cowcatcher. How to install 00u02 on the frame?

Again, looking at that same photo under "Surging," you can see on the far left side of the picture that the cowcatcher is held in place from underneath the front crossmember by two small screws.
Good luck,
Jay

Mine is attached with the two small screws to the main frame and two snap on braces to a round cross member on the main frame.  :)
