Title: 0-6-0 Catalog number question, for the Bachmann
Post by: kmcsjr on February 21, 2017, 08:56:00 PM
Hi
If a vendor shows as having an N scale USRA 0-6-0 New Jersey Central # 106 catalog number 50565, can I be certain it is a 2015 release, with a hidden motor and knuckle couplers? It is my favorite etailer and she "doesn't know". Is there something, on the package I can direct her to?

I don't think you can go by catalog numbers - the models change, but the catalog numbers usually don't. The easiest way to verify the version is by whether or not the back end of the motor sticks out of the cab.

Thanks M
It's a large seller, on an auction site. I've bought a bunch of Bachmann from her, as she has great prices, but it's a stock photo, and she doesn't know... I'll ask her to look at the model.
