Have been advised by Bachmann Parts that I can no longer get replacement trucks for the Vandy Tender on this unit. Does any one no of a source for these or something that can be substituted??? Even a complete tender if necessary. Hate to think of being forced into using this unit as a paperweight. Cost to much for that.
Lots of people out there looking for those trucks (or that tender), so it's going to be tough. I take it yours is beyond repair?

Yea, the truck melted from a short and will not retain the wheels properly. At least I don't think there in anything that can be done about it.
Maybe you can get somebody on Shapeways to design them for you? If it's an item that other people are looking for, that's a good incentive.

If you want to move away from the Vandy tender, you can get other Spectrum tenders. Maybe Bach Man can chime in as to the potential for another tender run?
